The Drug Princess From Texas

The drug princess from Texas, daughter of the DEA’s agent Bill Furay was arrested after being caught with marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, some pills of ecstasy and a drug similar with LSD

At first sight she seems a cute angelic teenager whose only worries are having fun, enjoying life and maybe school. But if you look beyond her sweetie face you will discover that she is the most adorable drug dealer. Sarah Furay 19 years old was arrested after the College Station Police found in her bedroom 31.5 grams of cocaine, 29 tablets of ecstasy, 126 grams of marijuana , 60 doses of a drug similar to LSD and methamphetamine. They also found packaging materials, two digital scales and a handwritten drug price list.

Her father Bill Furay is the DEA chief in Beaumont Texas and I’m wondering what can be in his mind after discovering that his only daughter is playing on the other side. He spent all his life catching drug dealers and busting drug cartels along the Mexican/American border. But now he must face the truth that Sarah is charged for the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and drug possession.

After the arrest,Sarah was booked into the Brazos County Jail and released after just one day in prison posting a 39.000$ bond , a quite little amount for at least three felony charges. Sarah could now be given to the severity of the Texas justice system and sentenced with maximum 215 years behind bars . This of course, unless his father is able to pull some strings in Sarah’s defense which is maybe not the best idea in his actual position.

Wondering how Sarah choose this road made me dig deeper about her previous family relationship because we all know that all that’s crazy in your teens comes from family issues. Through our research we found that her mother divorced from her father and married another man, this probably affected Sarah and pushed her into the drug world.

Should Sarah go to prison ?
Are Sarah’s parents to blame for her behavior?
